Job Description
The host/hostess provides guests with the very first impression of a restaurant, playing a crucial role in the guest experience. The host/hostess also must answer phone calls, confirm all reservations, and manage seating processes to ensure enough time and space for parties. This position requires a friendly personality, problem-solving skills, fast thinking, organization, and working well under pressure.
Candidates must offer availability regularly with weekends, in particular. Responsibilities include: Greet guests upon their arrival Escort guests to their seats, provide menus to guests and inform them of the name of their server Maintain an accurate, fair, and up-to-date waitlist and seating chart Inform guests when their table is ready Oversee the general functioning of the dining room during the meal service period, relaying information to service personnel requesting feedback from guests about their satisfaction, making adjustments when and where necessary Take and manage reservations in restaurants that allow reservations Balance the customer flow among the service stations, taking into account requests for a particular table or server, depending on availability

Hours- 7/ 8 hrs a day
Morning shift: 7 am-3 pm
Mid shift: 3 pm-10 pm (busy days)
Late shift: 5 pm-12 am
